Manarion Pets Chart: All 25 Pets, Effects and XP

Verified against the live game on November 2, 2026 (pet formulas read from the game client, latest in-game patch notes: October 30, 2026).
Pets are Manarion’s slow-burn power system. There are 25 of them, each with one effect that grows every level, and the right six or seven active pets matter as much as a good piece of gear. This page lists every pet with its class and its exact effect at the levels players actually reach, how much experience each level costs, what the top battlers and gatherers run and how expeditions work. For how pets fit into the rest of the game, see the Complete Manarion Guide.
Pet slots and classes
Every pet belongs to one of three classes, and each class has its own slots:
| Class | Active slots | When it works | Pets |
|---|---|---|---|
| Combat | 3 | While battling | Resurrect, Resistance, Immunity, Damage, Curse, Poison, Focus, Ward, Haste, Regeneration |
| Gathering | 2 | While gathering | Colony, Mining, Fishing, Woodcutting, Versatility, Foraging, Prospecting |
| Utility | 1, or 2 with Menagerie level 40 | In every activity | Mana Dust, Egg Drop, Pet bonus xp, Multistat, Dungeon Idle, Drop, Construction, Group Dungeon |
Your first Egg comes from the Elemental Rift event. Each new pet costs more Eggs than the one before, and a new pet activates on its own if you have a free slot of its class. Pets do nothing during the Elemental Rift itself.
All 25 pets and their effect by level
Top players have their pets at level 10 to 13, so the tables stop at 15. Values come straight from the formulas the game uses for the pet tooltip.
Combat pets
Combat pets only work while you battle.
- Resurrect: After fatal damage, restores your health to full, once per battle per level.
- Resistance: Resistance against all elements: 1 – 0.85^level.
- Immunity: Before fatal damage, ignores the next 5 enemy attacks per level.
- Damage: Damage done, x1.2 per level (multiplicative).
- Curse: At the start of combat, uses all your mana to cut enemy health to 0.8^level.
- Poison: After each enemy attack, deals 0.2% per level of the enemy’s current health.
- Focus: Focus, x1.2 per level (multiplicative).
- Ward: Ward, x1.2 per level (multiplicative).
- Haste: Haste, x1.2 per level (multiplicative).
- Regeneration: After enemy attacks, restores 1% per level of health and mana, fading to 0% over 200 rounds.

| Pet | Lv 1 | Lv 5 | Lv 10 | Lv 15 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mana Dust | +1% | +5% | +10% | +15% |
| Egg Drop | 0.01% | 0.05% | 0.10% | 0.15% |
| Pet bonus xp | +5% | +25% | +50% | +75% |

| Construction | 2% | 10% | 20% | 30% |
| Group Dungeon | +3% | +15% | +30% | +45% |
Damage, Focus, Ward and Haste multiply, so each level is worth more than the last: level 10 gives +519%, more than six times your base value. Curse works the other way, taking a bigger bite out of enemy health each level: at level 10, enemies start at 10.74% health.
Pet experience: how much each level costs
Every level costs twice as much experience as the one before. Level 1 to 2 needs 2.5M pet experience, and each step after that doubles. You can also feed Eggs to a pet: each Egg gives 100K experience, so the Eggs column shows what a level would cost if you only fed it.
| Level | Experience for this level | Total from level 1 | Eggs if fed |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 to 2 | 2.50M | 2.50M | 25 |
| 2 to 3 | 5.00M | 7.50M | 50 |
| 3 to 4 | 10.00M | 17.50M | 100 |
| 4 to 5 | 20.00M | 37.50M | 200 |
| 5 to 6 | 40.00M | 77.50M | 400 |
| 6 to 7 | 80.00M | 157.50M | 800 |
| 7 to 8 | 160.00M | 317.50M | 1,600 |
| 8 to 9 | 320.00M | 637.50M | 3,200 |
| 9 to 10 | 640.00M | 1.28B | 6,400 |
| 10 to 11 | 1.28B | 2.56B | 12,800 |
| 11 to 12 | 2.56B | 5.12B | 25,600 |
| 12 to 13 | 5.12B | 10.24B | 51,200 |
| 13 to 14 | 10.24B | 20.48B | 102,400 |
| 14 to 15 | 20.48B | 40.96B | 204,800 |
| 15 to 16 | 40.96B | 81.92B | 409,600 |
The doubling is why pet levels stay low. Going from level 12 to 13 costs 5.12B experience on its own, more than every level from 1 to 12 combined.
What changes how fast pets level
- Matching activity. All active pets gain experience, but combat pets gain half while you gather, and gathering pets gain half while you battle. Utility pets always gain the full amount.
- Pet bonus xp. Every pet level you gain adds 2% bonus pet experience, the Pet bonus xp pet adds 5% per level to your other active pets, and the Menagerie in the Mage Tower adds more.
- Kindred stars. Each Kindred star in the constellation multiplies pet base experience by another 0.1x (1.1x for one, 2.0x for ten). See the Manarion Constellation Chart.
- Expeditions. Pets gain experience while they are away. With the Cancer star, active pets can also go on expeditions, and since October 17, 2026 they earn experience for both at once.
- Eggs. Feeding an Egg gives a flat 100K experience. That is a lot at low levels and very little past level 8, where Eggs are usually better spent on new pets or expedition rerolls.
Hover the experience bar of any pet in game to see its experience per tick and the time to its next level.
What top battlers and gatherers run
We looked up the active pets of the top 30 players on the Battle leaderboard and the top 30 on each of the Mining, Fishing and Woodcutting leaderboards (90 gatherers) on November 2, 2026. The tables show how many of them had each pet active, slot by slot.
Top 30 battlers
| Slot | Most used pets (out of 30) |
|---|---|
| Combat (3) | Curse 24, Poison 24, Haste 20, Ward 16, Immunity 6 |
| Gathering (2) | Prospecting 28, Foraging 8, Fishing 7, Versatility 4 |
| Utility (1 or 2) | Construction 28, Mana Dust 13, Dungeon Idle 9, Multistat 7 |
The battle core is clear: Curse and Poison to shred enemy health, plus Haste or Ward. Battlers still fill their gathering slots, almost always with Prospecting, because Gathering Nodes also show up while battling and feed Starcharting.
Top 90 gatherers
| Slot | Most used pets (out of 90) |
|---|---|
| Gathering (2) | Prospecting 70, Versatility 63, their own skill pet 38 (Mining 13, Woodcutting 13, Fishing 12), Foraging 9 |
| Utility (1 or 2) | Construction 82, Multistat 33, Dungeon Idle 31, Group Dungeon 16 |
| Combat (3) | No clear pattern: Haste 16, Ward 13, Curse 12, Damage, Focus and Poison 11 each |
Two surprises here. Top gatherers mostly drop their own skill pet for Prospecting and Versatility, since a few percent of base experience matters less at the top than more Gathering Nodes and levelling all three skills at once. And their combat slots are spread across every pet, which shows them rotating low-level combat pets through for free experience. Construction is the favourite utility pet on both sides, since endgame players pour huge amounts into the Mage Tower.
Which pets to get first
- Egg Drop. It finds Eggs while you play, which pays for every pet after it.
- Your path’s core. Battlers want Curse, Poison and Haste or Ward. Gatherers start with their main skill pet and Versatility, then swap the skill pet for Prospecting once Starcharting matters.
- Prospecting. A strong pick for either path once you invest in Starcharting.
- Survival when you push higher enemies. Resurrect or Immunity. The Reckless prefix costs 2 Immunity levels, so check your gear before relying on it.
- Construction or Multistat for the utility slot later on, depending on whether you are building the Mage Tower or levelling stats.
Gatherers level pets faster overall. Their combat pets lose nothing by sitting in slots at half experience, so a gatherer can rotate low-level combat pets through for free, while a battler needs their best combat pets active at all times.
Pet expeditions
Idle pets can go on expeditions for loot. You send up to three pets on each one, and they gain experience while they are away. Every pet has a home biome (Plains, Forest, Mountain, Cave, Swamp or Ghostlands) and two traits (Offensive, Defensive, Agile, Harvest, Scavenge, Luck, Wisdom or Endurance), and a team that matches the expedition succeeds more often.
- Locations: Reliquary, Forgotten Archives, Arcane Reservoir, Enchanted Valley, Ironbound Cliffs, Lake Eerie, Ancient Grove, Elemental Plane, Sunfields, the Burnt, Flooded and Overgrown Archives (Tomes), Runic Forge (equipment, always Epic or Legendary), Primordial Outcrop, Hidden Roost (Eggs) and one location for each of the 17 gems, from Ruby Ridge to Sunstone Steppe.
- Extra slots: bought with Codex. Each new slot costs 100 Codex more than the last, because the price is 100 Codex for every slot you own beyond the first two. The October 27, 2026 patch raised the maximum by three.
- Rerolls: Eggs reroll the offered expeditions. Lock an unstarted expedition to keep it through a reroll.
- Rewards: the Expedition Rarity Codex boost improves what you are offered. Tome rewards scale with your Drop Boost since October 27, 2026. The Expedition Hall raises rewards and duration by 1% per level, and the Menagerie adds 0.2% bonus loot per level.
- Constellation: Cancer lets active pets go on expeditions too, and Pisces gives expeditions an extra trait.
