Manarion Jewelcrafting Guide and Gem Chart

Verified against the live game on November 2, 2026 (formulas read from the game client and checked against the in-game Jewelcrafting page, latest in-game patch notes: October 30, 2026).
Jewels are one of Manarion’s long-term multipliers, and the formulas behind them are spread across patch notes and tooltips. This page lists all 17 gems and what their jewels give at every grade, how grades and rarity work, and the merge and sacrifice formulas. For the bigger picture, see the Complete Manarion Guide.
How jewels work
- Get uncut gems as drops from normal actions, from every dungeon treasure, and from the Gem Shop, which takes Gem Tokens earned from group dungeon objectives.
- Cut them into jewels. Jewelcrafting runs alongside your normal actions and cuts one gem per minute automatically.
- Every jewel has three grades from F to S: Resonance, Luster and Clarity. Its power is the three grades multiplied together, with F = 1 and S = 7, so power runs from 1 (F/F/F) to 343 (S/S/S).
- Equip one jewel per equipment slot, eight in total. Jewels sit in the slot, not on the item, so changing gear keeps your jewels.
- Merge jewels to improve them. A merge keeps the best grade of each aspect. When two grades match, there is a chance they combine into the next grade up.
All 17 gems and their jewel effect by power
Each gem gives one effect, scaled by the jewel’s power. The columns show four common grades: F/F/F (power 1), C/C/C (64), A/A/A (216) and S/S/S (343).
| Gem | Effect | F/F/F | C/C/C | A/A/A | S/S/S |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ruby | Inferno (extra fire spell damage) | +0.5% | +32% | +108% | +171.5% |
| Sapphire | Tidal Wrath (extra water spell damage) | +0.5% | +32% | +108% | +171.5% |
| Emerald | Wildheart (extra nature spell damage) | +0.5% | +32% | +108% | +171.5% |
| Diamond | Intellect | +0.2% | +12.8% | +43.2% | +68.6% |
| Garnet | Mining XP | +0.02% | +1.28% | +4.32% | +6.86% |
| Aquamarine | Fishing XP | +0.02% | +1.28% | +4.32% | +6.86% |
| Jade | Woodcutting XP | +0.02% | +1.28% | +4.32% | +6.86% |
| Citrine | Equipment Drop Rate | +0.5% | +32% | +108% | +171.5% |
| Topaz | Gem Drop Rate | +0.5% | +32% | +108% | +171.5% |
| Amethyst | Overflow (excess mana regeneration into damage) | +0.3% | +19.2% | +64.8% | +102.9% |
| Onyx | Stamina | +0.3% | +19.2% | +64.8% | +102.9% |
| Turquoise | Base Resource | +0.04% | +2.56% | +8.64% | +13.72% |
| Peridot | Base Resource Amount | +0.4 | +25.6 | +86.4 | +137.2 |
| Tanzanite | Magical Accounting | +0.5% | +32% | +108% | +171.5% |
| Tourmaline | Pet Bonus XP | +0.5% | +32% | +108% | +171.5% |
| Moonstone | Gathering Node Rate | +0.05% | +3.2% | +10.8% | +17.15% |
| Sunstone | Starcharting | +1% | +64% | +216% | +343% |
These values are before any sacrifice multiplier or Attuned bonus. Peridot adds a flat amount to Base Resource Amount instead of a percentage. Sunstone and Moonstone arrived with Starcharting on October 17, 2026, which is why the original patch notes mention only 15 gems.
Jewel grades and rarity
A jewel’s name tells you its three grades: the Resonance word, then the Luster word, then the Clarity word, then the gem. A Discordant Dull Clouded Ruby is F/F/F, and a Resonant Brilliant Flawless Ruby is S/S/S.
| Grade | Resonance | Luster | Clarity |
|---|---|---|---|
| F | Discordant | Dull | Clouded |
| E | Dissonant | Faint | Hazy |
| D | Erratic | Muted | Veiled |
| C | Aligned | Vivid | Clear |
| B | Harmonized | Lustrous | Pristine |
| A | Attuned | Radiant | Immaculate |
| S | Resonant | Brilliant | Flawless |
The jewel’s rarity colour comes from its power:
| Rarity | Power | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Common | 1 to 26 | F/F/F up to D/D/C |
| Uncommon | 27 to 63 | D/D/D |
| Rare | 64 to 124 | C/C/C |
| Epic | 125 to 215 | B/B/B |
| Legendary | 216 to 342 | A/A/A |
| Mythic | 343 | S/S/S only |
You can switch the game to show grades as numbers 1 to 7 instead of F to S in Settings.
Merging, sacrificing and other jewel tools
- Upgrade chance. When two grades match, the base chance to combine into the next grade is 25%, plus 1% for every 100 points of Jewelcrafting skill. Bad luck protection then adds 2% per failed attempt beyond the second (3% with the Lucky Clover star), tracked separately for each gem type and grade.
- Sacrifice. Destroying jewels empowers your strongest equipped jewel of that gem type. Each grade adds 5^(tier – 1) sacrifice value, so an S grade is worth 15,625 and an F grade 1. The multiplier is the square root of (1 + total sacrificed / 50,000). A merge that throws away grades also adds half of their sacrifice value.
- Transmute. Uncut gems can be transmuted into other gem types with Orbs of Chaos.
- Automation. Choose which gems to auto-cut and set an auto-merge limit by highest grade. Auto-merge triggers right after a cut.
- Prefixes that touch jewels. Attuned on an item empowers the jewel in that slot by 50%, and Shining makes the gems you have equipped drop more often.
- Guild armory. The armory has had a Jewel section since January 26, 2026, so guilds can share spare jewels.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many gems are there in Manarion?
17: Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Diamond, Garnet, Aquamarine, Jade, Citrine, Topaz, Amethyst, Onyx, Turquoise, Peridot, Tanzanite, Tourmaline, Moonstone and Sunstone.
How is jewel power calculated in Manarion?
Multiply the three grades (Resonance, Luster and Clarity), counting F as 1 and S as 7. An S/S/S jewel has power 343, the maximum.
How many jewels can I equip?
Eight, one for each equipment slot. Jewels stay in the slot when you change the item.
What is the chance to upgrade a grade when merging jewels?
25% when the two grades match, plus 1% per 100 Jewelcrafting skill, plus bad luck protection after repeated failures.
Where do I get uncut gems and Gem Tokens?
Uncut gems drop from normal actions and every dungeon treasure, and the Gem Shop sells them for Gem Tokens. Gem Tokens come from group dungeon objectives, and the Group Dungeon pet adds 3% per level.
Is sacrificing jewels worth it?
Yes for spare high grades. Each S grade adds 15,625 sacrifice value, and the multiplier is the square root of (1 + total / 50,000), so sacrificing 50,000 value boosts your best jewel of that type by about 41%.
